In honour of Valentines, I made some love heart trousers for Frankie-Rose. I don't 'pink fluffy heart' Valentines generally but its a nice excuse to make something sweet for Frankie. I have been meaning to put some patches on her leggings and trousers for a while, as we have hard wood floors which she spends a lot of time crawling on (and slapping. And licking).
This DIY was extremely simple, as I used a sort of felted wool that doesn't need hemming. It's actually an old jumper that I kept (hoarding for the win) so it took 10 minutes to cut out then sew the hearts on this morning. I probably should have sewn round the edges a few times but this is the crafty indolence I occasionally indulge in. Just for kicks, I sewed a big love heart on the butt too.
The trousers are h&m joggers from a charity shop. The vest is Koppahl, a Scandinavian baby brand but I got it for a few quid on ebay instead.
Lovely baby butt
Pretty sweet.
Happy Valentines to you!
Happy Valentines to you!
P.S More importantly, happy pancake day! It's almost my favourite day of the year. Almost. To me it is a signal fire, banishing winters cold gloom and heralding the start of Spring. We might eat pancakes for dinner all week (with varying savoury & sweet toppings), and I can't wait.

Oh my! That is too cute for words! The bum! I might have to pin it (sounds wrong, that.)
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks! Feel free! Although I'm now thinking of pin the tail on the donkey?!
DeleteI love that in the second last picture she's standing like a boss - hip kicked out good and proper! Those troos are very sweet - not 'sickly' sweet - 'appropriately' cool sweet.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, I love how she was standing. We took a few pics in quick succession and it would make a brilliant gif.
DeleteThese are so very cute!
