Porridge...

Is there anything nicer on these bitter windy days? I'm already looking forward to my bowl in the morning.

P.s I've been lost in a sea of fabric, buttons, jars, ribbon and thread  in preparation for Christmas (as well as the day job and writing work- equal parts stressful and pleasurable), but I hope to blog about our crafting, cooking and Christmas dinner party soon. Just as soon as I've finished everything and laid on the floor for a while....

  4. The other half makes it when we has time... with honey, dates and chopped almonds (and a dash of cinammon!) :) Christmas prep taken over here too. Have a wonderful time x

  6. I'm in a real porridge phase at the moment. In the week when I'm pushed for time I get those 2 minute microwave sachets (not 'true' porridge I know, but so convenient!). When I have more time I like big oats cooked slowly with milk and a good drizzle of golden syrup. Mmmmmmm.

  7. Gosh, lots of syrup fans!

    Yesterday, I crumbled christmas pudding onto my porridge, and drizzled it with soya cream. Sounds a bit odd but honestly It was DIVINE. My favourite topping so far!
