I have lots to blog from my Christmas crafty glut of a weekend, but for now I have just seen that a project I submitted to the Guardian a while ago is up on their site*. It is a tutorial on how to make home made patchwork baubles, one of my favourite Christmas craft projects. For more information and a full tutorial, click here, and do let me know what you think...
*I am of course super excited to be in one of my favourite publications (eeeee!), but also ever so slightly poop-my-pants nervous too...gulp. Anway, I hope you like it.

Wow, the Guardian! Amazing, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteif I wasn't (stupidly) about to move house next weekend I would be doing this right now!!! and you are actually on the front on my Guardian app which is set up with Life and Style then Books then News in that order :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! And enjoy the nerves... all cool artists get them :-) You've earned it!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies.
ReplyDeleteLil- wow! Thanks! Theres always next weekend? Good luck with the move!
That's great, how exciting! The Guardian is my newspaper of choice too, how grand! X
ReplyDeleteOoh, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThese are just sooo cute! I always end up with small pieces of fabric that I hate to waste but just don't know what to do with them - now I can see a bauble making session coming on! :)) Melissa
ReplyDeleteCongrtulations on the article and I love these - I'll try to make one or two next year. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat project, thanks. Bought 9 large baubles for 99p this morning and now have 9 super-pretty decorations. Used pinking scissors to cut my fabric up & that cut down on stray ends of cotton.
ReplyDeleteI am currently sitting in front of the television making my own liberty print baubles...Love the idea. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty... I know I said it on twitter already but congratulations! :D
